Nelly was rescued as a little kitten from a cat colony by an elderly lady. Nelly stole her heart and the lady couldn’t live without the little one. Together with the dog, they formed a nice family. Nelly had hit the jackpot! And then things went wrong. The lady had an accident and could no longer live independently. Much to her detriment, she was unable to take her animals to the nursing home. A nice family was soon found for the dog. Unfortunately, finding a home for cats that are no longer kittens is very difficult in Spain. In desperation, the lady contacted Catland. Fortunately, we were able to help.

Nelly has recently moved to a foster family and after a day or two, she was already her lovely, cuddly self. She is a gentle, kind girl. She loves to cuddle. If you stroke her tummy, she will roll on her back purring loudly for more. As a healthy young girl, Nelly obviously likes to play. She can entertain herself well with her toys, but playing with her family is of course the most fun. Nelly likes to be with her family, we expect that she will come and make herself  comfortable next to you on the couch or on your lap, just like with her previous owner.

We know that Nelly can live well with a quiet dog. In the foster family, she lives with Bibi, the ladies have a great time together. They can of course be adopted together, but it’s not necessary. Quiet teenagers from the age of 14 are no problem at all. Especially not when they have hugs on offer. Nelly is a real indoor cat, she wouldn’t know what to do in the outside world. She does like to get some fresh air every now and then or to take a nap in the sun. A garden is not necessary, but a cat-proof balcony would be lovely.
