Ambar is what you would call a doll of a cat. She is gentle, sweet, and affectionate. She’s also has her looks going for her with her beautiful blue-gray tabby fur and beautiful amber eyes. What more could an owner wish for, you’d think! Unfortunately…

Ambar was a house cat but her owners had not spayed her. When Ambar became pregnant, she was thrown out on the streets with her crib and toys. The poor girl sat meowing on her crib in a neighborhood that was strange to her, scared and confused. A heartbreaking scene. Fortunately, it didn’t take long before one of the local residents couldn’t stand it anymore and called for Catland’s help.

Fortunately, she was taken in by a lovely foster family. The family named her Ambar, after the color of her beautiful eyes. She gave birth to her kittens there and raised them. When the kittens were old enough, they all quickly found a nice home. Now that «the nest is emty», it is mother Ambar’s turn for her own forever family.

Ambar actually has two children still living at home…chickens! She loved the chicks that the family also had in foster care so much that she took them into her small family. The chicks were just two extra kittens for Ambar. They were allowed to sleep with the family (just to be sure, only in the presence of the foster family of course). Even now that the chicks are big hens, Ambar is still their mother and they can still be found together regularly. The chickens are now standing on their own two feet and live very comfortably with the other chickens in the garden.

As mentioned, Amber is a doll. A calm, loving girl. She loves people and her biggest hobby is cuddling. She will sit on your lap for extended cuddle sessions and you will regularly get cups against your leg. Ambar is also a foodie, she enjoys her food to the fullest. She always has a little hole left for a snack; -) Ambar can go outside with her foster family, but she prefers to be inside.

She doesn’t necessarily need a feline friend, but she can live with a non-dominant, friendly cat. Amber is not a fan of dogs. She does get along very well with calm teenagers. Especially if they like to cuddle with her of course.

This lovely girl is ready to enjoy the rest of her life with a lovely, forever family!
