A big (sunny) Catland update!

On Tuesday, Catland officially confirmed an agreement for the installation of solar panels with the reputable company Solar in Spain .

Since Catland is completely off-grid, this marks a major milestone for our project! We had previously explored the possibility of connecting to the main power grid through Iberdrola, but the feasibility study showed it would be both too expensive and logistically challenging.

Essential for our cats’ wellbeing
Our containers are fully insulated, keeping a comfortable temperature for most of the year but, during the hot summer months, air conditioning is essential for our cats’ wellbeing. Thanks to this solar installation, we’ll soon be able to provide that sustainably.

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Solar in Spain, a company known for its excellent service and aftercare, and we hope to have an installation start date very soon!
