Friendly colony cat from Javea found in Gata

A few weeks ago, a friendly male cat was found in Gata de Gorgos. He belonged to a colony in Jávea. However, due to the circumstances surrounding his disappearance, returning him to the colony was not an option and would have placed his life at risk.

A collaboration between Gata Arrapa – Difusió Animal Gata de Gorgos and Catland began. We wanted to ensure this boy was kept safe. Pilar Arabí Gómez opened her heart and home, caring for him with kindness, dedication, and patience while a legal solution was found.

The safety, love, and security he deserves

On Wednesday, Pilar and Claire had the privilege of placing him into his forever home. He will finally have the safety, love, and security he deserves. Within two minutes, he had completely melted his new family’s hearts.

While his future is now safe, the circumstances that led to his disappearance cannot be ignored. The matter has been formally documented, and Catland will be pursuing the appropriate legal channels to ensure accountability and seek justice on his behalf.
