Hello, my name is Sarah and I am part of Catland’s fundraising team. I focus on digital/cryptocurrency fundraising. Cryptocurrency is still in its infancy, but already a very interesting market to try and find financial support for our shelter.

I have always been an animal lover and grew up with cats. Due to my job as a neonatal nurse and the shifts I could not have animals of my own for a long time. After a long and fulfilling career, I decided it was time to explore more of the world outside the hospital. And I could finally welcome cats (and dogs) into my life again!

I am currently in the process of moving to Spain permanently. When I am in Javea I help Catland where I can. I accompany adopted cats on their flights to their new families in The Netherlands, foster cats in need of a permanent home, and will join the shelter staff when the shelter opens. I can’t wait for us to open the doors and help more street cats in need!
